Privacy Policy – "Picked!" App

1. Introduction and Identity of the Operator

Welcome to the "Picked!" app (hereinafter: the "App"). The App is operated and managed by LUCKY BLACK CAT Studio (hereinafter: the "Operator", "we", or "us"). We attach supreme importance to the protection of user privacy and operate in accordance with the provisions of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Information Security), 5777-2017, as well as the updated policies of the Google Play and Apple App Store.

2. Information Collection and Registration

Use of the App requires registration and identification via third-party systems (Social Login):

  • Means of Identification: Registration is carried out exclusively via a Google or Apple account.
  • Collected Information: Upon registration, we collect your email address, name, and a unique user identifier provided by the authentication provider and profile picture (avatar). This information is stored and managed using Supabase cloud services.

3. Device Permissions and Technical Information

For the operation of the App, we request the following permissions:

  • Location Services: Access to your location is performed exclusively during active use of the App (Foreground). This information is used to display your location on the map relative to distribution points and to calculate distances. This information is not collected or stored in the background.
  • Gallery Access (Photos): This permission is used exclusively for uploading screenshots containing package details at the user's initiative.
  • Push Notifications: For sending status updates regarding your packages.
  • Advertising Identifiers: The App utilizes IDFA/AAID to display advertisements via Google AdMob, subject to your device-level consent.

4. Information Processing via Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The App includes a data extraction component based on the Google Gemini model.

  • Mode of Operation: Upon uploading a screenshot, the system extracts the text and sends it for processing to Google AI servers.
  • Security and Deletion: The screenshot itself is not stored on our servers and is deleted immediately after the data extraction. We store on Supabase servers only the extracted textual data (tracking numbers and shipping details).
  • Clarification: As the processing is carried out within the framework of Google's services (Free Tier), the uploaded information may be used by Google to improve its artificial intelligence models. The user acknowledges and agrees not to upload sensitive personal information that is not required for the purpose of tracking packages.

5. Account Management: Data Retention & Deletion

We provide you with the ability to fully manage your personal information under the settings menu ("Account Management"):

  • Freeze Account: This action will change your user status to "suspended". Your information will be kept on our servers in a secure manner but will not be processed, and no notifications will be sent until the account is reactivated by you.
  • Delete Account: This action is final and irreversible. Upon selecting this option, all information linked to your account (including package history, identification details, and extracted information) will be permanently deleted from Supabase servers and all Operator databases.

6. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not and will not sell your information. Information sharing is carried out exclusively with service providers that enable the operation of the App: Supabase (storage), Google (advertising and AI), and Apple/Google (authentication).

7. Information Security

The Operator employs advanced technological and organizational security measures, including data encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest, to ensure the protection of your information.

8. Changes to the Policy

The Operator reserves the right to update this policy. Notice of material changes will be published within the App or sent via email.
